The New Orleans Saints running back Reggie Bush did not practice for the third consecutive day on Friday and his playing status remains questionable for Sunday’s game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
His left knee is still swelling and preventing him from playing in his Saints jersey again. Bush had two surgeries on the knee in a three-month span last year, but it seemed that the knee still does not want to work much and caused Bush to leave field while playing against the St. Louis Rams last Sunday.
According to Saints Coach Sean Payton, Bush’s knee is bruised and swollen, and he and the team do not want risk a setback with the star running back even though Bush knows the team’s offense well enough to enter game any time without preparation.
