The Cowboys found themselves in lack of reliable backup QB, which will be hindrance to their making the playoffs, so they chose Jon Kitna, the team’s No. 2 QB newly signed this offseason.
With 12 years of experience and 59.8 career completion percentage, Kitna will probably bring more hopes to the Cowboys. His best statistical season was in 2006 and 2007, with more than 4,000 yards of throw. With the fact that Tony Romo went down in Week 6 and Brad Johnson was proved to be less than adequate, Kitna became Cowboys best choice on the way to the playoffs.
